Rushmore Hoop Barns

You can find every Rushmore hoop shed we offer right now from this page. Rushmore’s are heavy duty hoop barns. If you came here looking for a “big-box-store backyard shed” or a “farm auction special”, we can’t help you. What you’ll find here are durable, economical and ecofriendly hoop buildings.

Whether you call them hoop buildings, fabric buildings, cloth buildings, or canvas, we’ve got ’em for sale. These are Rushmore brand buildings made by Rush-co in a sweet little town right on the Missouri river in South Dakota, USA.

We offer kits to build these fabric barns in widths from 24′ to 140′. All of our buildings are fully engineered and come with full instructions and hardware. While most of our sheds are wall mount buildings, we can accommodate many hoop style designs.

Our fabric structures are built much heavier than many in the industry. By built heavier, we mean that our building frames use a lower gauge steel. With steel, the lower the number, the heavier it is. Our 12 and 13 gauge buildings

are visibly different from a 14 gauge building and the difference shows in the life of the building. All cloth buildings are not the same! Make sure you get the details.

All of our Rushmore buildings, both single pipe buildings and double pipe truss barn kits are made in the United States and warranted. Please see the individual product page for the warranty on that hoop. Many out here are a guaranteed building, if you follow the simple instructions, Rush-co stands behind theirs.

We are a family owned, earth conscious business located in Marion, SD. We’re not rocket scientists but we know that hoop buildings are a good idea both economically and ecologically.

We are online fabric building dealers who do a large volume and pass a good discount on hoop buildings on to you. We’ve sold several brands of hoops in the past. We feel we’re offering you the best value and quality with Rushmore.

We don’t cut corners to give our customers a good deal though. Big or small, each hoop building is custom made to your exact requirements.

We’re happy to talk with you about your needs in a hoop structure, please give us a call. If you have any questions about hoop sheds, give us a call. We have, or can usually get, answers. If you’re lonesome at 2 a.m., don’t call us.

Seriously, we’re a small outfit in a small town trying to do big things. We appreciate you taking a look at our buildings.

If we can help you with something, please contact us.

FAQ About Fabric Hoop Buildings

Every thing you need to build your barn; the frame, the cover and all the necessary hardware with the exception of concrete anchors if you need them.

Most of Rush-co’s hoops require a pony wall of some sort for two reasons which are explained more fully here. Our only exception is the 45′ wide which can be mounted on ground, asphalt or even concrete.

The hard part is you have to decide what you want. If you’re past that then shoot us an email, preferably from that building’s page, but just any will do. We’ll keep the ball rolling from there.

Here again, it depends. How big is it? Who are you?

We’ve had a contractor who specialized in high end homes hire one of our guys because he knew that experience makes erection quick and easy. On the other hand, an eighty year old grandma put up a 40′ x 60′ with a little neighbor help.

Smaller hoops a handyman can handle. Larger hoops, we’re happy to help guide a local contractor but they seldom need it.

You will not receive any materials for your foundation (pony wall). Other than that, you may need concrete anchors and, yes, you supply the labor, too.

An honest answer is: it depends on the building. Any of the frames on all of our buildings should outlast the fabric covers many times over. In our locale, the covers typically make 20-25 years before a new cover is a have to.

The answer is: it depends. I know we say that a lot but roughly here’s how it goes:

Early Spring: 3-4 weeks

Mid Summer: 6-10 weeks

Fall Rush: 12 weeks -3 months

Another depends answer. Sorry but it does matter what size the hoop barn is. Right now, our standard cover is running less than a buck a foot but who knows where that’ll be in twenty years or so when you want one?
